Siemens Synco Living is a professional HVAC system without native smart home integration. Heating couldn't be part of Homey automations.

§2 · How

A Homey app that talks to the Synco Living REST API and makes every room thermostat available as a controllable device.

§3 · Learned

Reverse engineering the Synco Living API, an OAuth-like authentication flow and robust error handling for network issues.
